"Beginning with any craft there is a gap between your skill level and your taste level— I learned there was a certain way I had to posture myself in order to bridge that gap successfully."

I’m grateful for the epiphanies I’ve had during tough times, and the ones I've had during moments of clairvoyant flow. Writing them down was an effort to create firewalls against my recurring anxieties, and help me snuff out doubt in its many forms.

"You need no permission only to take yourself seriously."

"I always hope to meet someone who'll help me show more people."

IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW...

Monisade landed an opportunity on a team at content giant Vayner Media to create aVideo OpEd for Meek Mill in the New York Times. She is credited as  a "Creative" on the Webby Award winning  OpEd for her contributions to the script. A VP at Vayner Media discovered Monisade  walking by an installation of her work at Union Square in New York City on August 8th, 2018 and hired her on to the project.

"It's coming and it already happened."

One last song...  In this shoddy footage I deliver the commencement speech for the Georgetown Day School class of 2010. If you've ordered a book, I invite you to watch. It contains an early glint of what I've found is my purpose. This, friends, is the bonus track!
